Are you struggling, trying to grow your Melaleuca business? Actually, the ugly truth is that most people in the network marketing industry are struggling – they join a company, thinking that succeeding will be easy, they do everything they are told to do by the company, and what happen? They fail! Actually this is how it goes for 97 % of the people in this industry and that goes for Melaleuca as well. That is really the reason why I’ve written this article – I want to give you an overview of what you shouldn’t be doing, and more important, what you should be doing so you can avoid failing.
To succeed you have to:
1. Stop working your “warm market”. Your friends and family are not your prospects, so stop wasting their and your time bugging them about these great products and opportunity.
2. Stop handing out business cards, flyers, samples and other stuff like that. Again – you are just wasting your time, because this will not help your business grow.
3. Stop going to hotel/home meetings, because this will not help you either. You won’t learn what you need to learn to grow your business, and therefore you shouldn’t go at all – and certainly not bring people to the meetings either.
4. Stop thinking that your business will explode if you have a replicated website, because it won’t. Growing your Melaleuca business on the internet is certainly the right way to go, but this has nothing to do with a replicated website.
And more important, you should:
5. Start forgetting all about the techniques and methods the company want you to use. If you want to succeed with your Melaleuca business, you need to stop wasting your time on techniques that have a 97 % high failure rate to prove them wrong.
6. Start recognizing that this is a real business, and you need to treat it as a real business. Growing ANY business will take time and effort, and that goes for your Melaleuca business as well. You can’t expect to succeed just by finding a couple of new distributors who do the same etc. If it was that easy, the failure rate wouldn’t be so high, right?
7. Start educating yourself in marketing. Marketing is all about knowing your audience and therefore you have to learn how to target your market, how to properly prospect etc. If you want to achieve success in the network marketing industry you have to become a marketer.
8. Start using the internet. As I mentioned before, this really is the right way to grow your Melaleuca business. Not by having your own replicated website, because that will not do you any good. The internet is really a very powerful tool, and I know that you may think you can’t learn how to use it, but you CAN – and once you’ve learned to master the internet, you can grow your Melaleuca business without any limits.
So, what’s holding you back? If you want to succeed in this industry, you really can, you just have to remember the above, and start doing things right. When you start doing that, you will succeed with your Melaleuca business.
