What are the motivations and reasons you have for owning a business? What intentions were you holding when you began your business? A lot can happen in a short period of time as we all know, and much can change the way we operate in our lives. In many ways I feel sure that numerous factors have had an effect on you and you have adapted in your own way accordingly, though taking time to realign in light of changes happens seldom.

Money can also be set as a value though because much as we carry around a physical representation of it, it is just a concept that although in some ways is tangible can never be physically held. In order to elicit your values in the various areas of your life ask yourself what it is in that area which is important to you that makes it work well for you, then list all the words that spring to your mind. You feel you have run out of words following the first few, though if you keep going through the void you will discover a second set springs into your mind. Then ideally you should get them in order of importance, working through them and deciding which is the single most important without which it would fail to work and so on. Upon completing the list read it through and it should cause you to smile when it’s right, also you should tap into your feelings and check how deeply it resonates with how things are running in that area. Thus enabling you to align more effectively to what you are doing with your values causing you to be able to achieve more there. Beyond this several other levels exist, in order to work through them though you either need to be NLP trained yourself or work with a good NLP trained Business Coach. When you decide to work on the further levels of depth you start to clear up the motivation factors creating greater positivity and efficiency, plus clear away the blockages preventing you from achieving the full attainment of each value.
