How To Be Successful In A MLM Business Without Ever Making A Sales Pitch

Friday, October 30th, 2009

People are turned off by sales pitch. People are able to see a sales pitch from a mile away. And normally they run as quickly as they can. No one wants to be pitched a business with a hard sell. It shows you have little regard for their space and time.

A better style is the un-sales pitch. It involves training the consumer, providing information and creating buzz.  When you first start talking to someone it should be your goal to get to know the person, ask them about their business or what their goals are of starting a business, get them engaged and talking to learn what’s important to them. Jumping the gun and learning nothing about the person will not bring you return business or referrals, in face it makes them feel pressured and they’ll run for the hills.

People tend to be quick to walk away from a home networking business. Leading off with a sales pitch without developing the relationship will usually lead to rejection. The point of network marketing is to brand yourself as a lead and to develop strong relationships with people.  The more information you can provide on your site that is useful to them without trying to get them to join, the more likely they will visit your site more often and eventually join of their own accord.

“How To” articles are the best content to add to your site.  People love reading “How To’s” and it will bring them back time and time again.  Providing these kinds of articles can build a huge fan base of people who trust and respect what you have to say and are more likely to buy products you recommend or join your business.  You also want to try to get people to interact with you and a great way to do that is by letting people post comments about your information.  Always check your comments section to reply to comments to build a rapport with readers.

You are attempting to educate them about how network marketing can help them in the same way it did you. They will have many questions as to how it all works, what they get out of it, how much work they will have to put into it and how much money they can make.  There are many questions and concerns people are going to have and it’s your job to answer them without adding any pressure.  Other concerns may be that they believe they are not good at marketing.  They do not think they have enough friends or contacts.  If your articles can show them how to simply do it and be successful, you will have a believer.

Network marketing can be a lucrative business and the more followers you have on your site, the more likely you can build your down line with actual members who are making money for you.
